We've retired to Idaho (North Idaho). We also have a home in Southern California, and intend to move between the two homes (as soon as both of us heal from our recent surgeries - Dian has had three in a six-month period, Dan one)
We started in Labradors in 1980. We love the Labrador Breed, and hope to enjoy the company of Labs forever. We have all three colors accepted in the Labrador Retriever Standard (Black, Yellow and Chocolate). If you're looking to enjoy some photos of Labs, or if you're trying to learn about the breed, we hope we have provided what you're looking for, and that you enjoy browsing the site. This site is intended to help people learn about the breed.
In the past 28 years we have served on the Board of two Labrador clubs, holding neary every office and committee that one can hold in a dog club. We were founding members of a local club in North end of So. Cal., and we were active members of the San Diego LRC until Feb. 2012 (we figure we should join a club or two in the North West!)
We believe the Labrador Retriever is one of the best all-around dogs available. We can't imagine our lives without them. We are, and always will be, actively involved in the promotion and protection of the Labrador Retriever. We will be showing our dogs here, since that's gives us a lot of pleasure!
To be clear; We do not have puppies at this time, and we do not offer any kennel services (Hey Gordon, thanks for the local shout-out! We've been receiving calls every day for puppies or kennel services, but haven't had a litter in over two years!)
In April, Dian had two more major surgeries (two four disc spinal fusions) two days apart, following her total shoulder surgery in Oct. '10. It has been a rough 10 months! So.... the website just had to go on hold. Dan took care of the dogs, while Dian healed. Dian is the one who takes the pictures, so the website just went stale. We're back!
