Breeders often hear from people looking for a yellow dog or puppy, stating they want a white labrador (or other color descriptions, such as cream, caramel, buttermilk, golden, and many others). For your education, yellows are yellows, and they're just called yellow. If any breeder tries to tell you that they have "rare" white, or "rare" fox-red Labradors, they are either uneducated or trying to pull the wool over your eyes! From the AKC Standard~ "Yellows may range in color from fox-red to light cream, with variations in shading on the ears, back, and underparts of the dog".
